With Reiki Healing Journey, like with his other records Healing Massage, Colour Healing, and Crystals, Llewellyn has created a masterful and timbrally rich recording. The tracks that make up this recording run together to create a rich and sonorous aural tapestry that brings a sense of inner peace and well being. This recording features 20 tracks, each of which come in at about three minutes. Llewellyn's Reiki Healing Journey is meant to guide both reiki practitioners and their recipients through a truly powerful, healing experience. The 60-minute length of this CD also makes it great for massage therapy and all other healing modalities, even yoga and tai chi. Llewellyn's Reiki Healing Journey may be great for healing practitioners but it's also an excellent recording to just sit and listen to. Fans of Enya and, more broadly, the space music genre will certainly enjoy this recording. Ultimately though, Llewellyn's Reiki Healing Journey is a new age recording. And it's quite possibly one of the finest new age recordings out there, sure to become a classic. Steven Halpern & Georgia Kelly - Ancient Echoes
This collaboration between healing-music artist Steven Halpern and harpist Georgia Kelly is a pleasant exercise in aimless musings that relax the soul and clear the mind. Halpern, long recognized for his educational work with New Age music, brings a starry Rhodes electric piano and synth to Kelly's swirling, gentle harp as the two try to recreate the ancient ritual of spiritual healing through music. While Halpern's electric piano may be a bit too drippy-dreamy, his synth is expansive and forms a soulful background for Kelly's plucking. "The Oracle at Delphi" stands out for its droning effect and hint of Muslim chant while "From Eleusis" attracts with a melodious flute sound. Halpern and Kelly create a relaxed atmosphere that, in the hands of these two experienced New Age artists, is enchanting. --Karen K. Hugg

Baird Hersey & Prana with Krishna Das - Gathering In The Light
"Gathering In The Light" is a pairing of two musical forces. Kirtan master Krishna Das, and Baird Hersey and his overtone singing choir Prana unite here to make music that’s whole is far greater than the sum of its parts. With the open hearted sound he is so well know for, Krishna Das sings seven of his most beloved chants over arrangements created by Baird, and sung by Prana.
But, Prana is far more than a human harmonium. The other worldly ensemble sound of Prana's drones, textures and rising harmonies are a perfect setting for both Baird's high arcing overtone melodies and Krishna Das' rich baritone. The two featured voices, sometimes support one another, and sometimes act as a foil for one another. When placed in the frame of the 8 voice choir, they shine like two spirits in pursuit of the same ethereal goal.
Although this is neither purely a Prana CD or Krishna Das CD, It is like nothing else you will hear. "Gathering In The Light" is innovative, heartfelt, and breath taking.

Moments of calm are followed by complex rhythmic patterns skillfully played by the two percussionists Vikku (ghatam) and Selvaganesh (kanjira). It's all 100% acoustic. You feel the strings rubbing and the skins vibrating! A very beautiful album.

Thus, while treating the physical aspect of a person, the Tibetan medical tradition emphasizes the importance of individuals transforming the three inner poisons: ignorance to wisdom, greed to contentment, and hatred to love. The Twelve Dreams Of The Sun was a concert held by musician Jean Michel Jarre on the Pyramids of Giza, Egypt starting on December 31, 1999 and carrying overnight to January 1, 2000. It was attended by 120,000 people. The concert consisted of two parts, the Main Concert and a Sunrise Concert. The concert cost approximately $9,500,000 and it originated when Jean-Michel Jarre was contacted by the Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak with a special project to celebrate the dawn of the new Millennium at the foot of the only remaining monument of the original 7 Wonders of the World - the Great Pyramids.
